Must have a valid Certificate from The Canadian Red Cross.
In-facility care providers, including nursing staff, care aides, medical and dental professionals.
Pre-hospital care providers, which may include professionals in a fire service, rescue team, sports-medicine, lifeguards and ski patrol.
In-facility and health care providers (nursing, care aides, dental industry, medical offices etc.),
pre-hospital care groups (fire departments, rescue teams, sports therapists, lifeguards, SCUBA divers, ski patrol, etc.).
• All workers who wear a tight-fitting respirator
• At least every 2 years (CSA).
• Qualitative fit test (QLFT): a pass/fail test method that relies on the subject’s sensory response to detect an agent in order to assess the adequacy of respirator fit.
