N95 Fit Testing
N95 Fit Testing
• All workers who wear a tight-fitting respirator
• At least every 2 years (CSA).
• Qualitative fit test (QLFT): a pass/fail test method that relies on the subject’s sensory response to detect an agent in order to assess the adequacy of respirator fit.
All businesses covered by the Workplace Safety and Insurance Act are required to have first aid equipment, facilities and trained personnel in all workplaces.
Regulation 1101 requires all employers to ensure that first aid boxes and stations are in the charge of workers who hold valid first aid certificates issued by a training agency recognized by the WSIB.
